Reggae Now Vol.2
eCaroh Price: $15.95
|
Reggae Now Volume 1 DJ Flava is one of the most
well-known Radio DJ´s in KINGSTON. After Ingo Kleinhammer
expanded the spectrum of the BOGALUSALabel into the Reggae music
area, it was decided to establish a sub-label called Reggae Now.
After Anthony B and Sizzla were convinced to cooperate , the
idea was born to present the current music scene. This was much
greeted by Artists. This was not the re-evaluation of old songs
, as is normal on compilations, but the presentation of current
musical developments.
Established artists with new songs, artists about to
break-through and good talent should all find a forum here. A
Caller is used for the Intro (as seen in films) and this gives
the project a completely new framework.. Volume 1 features only
established artists. First reactions to the release are very
positive, especially in Jamaica. Further Volumes are planned.
Extensive information is included in the CD booklet. As with
all Reggae releases, vinyl is still a requirement , so the album
is also available in this format. |
