Felix Walroud brings a new dimension in steel pan recording in a blend of the steel pan instrument with selected members of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. The result is sonorous easy listening sounds of familiar European melodies from Handel, Mozart and Bach, and standards from American popular music masters: Leonard Bernstein, Error Garner and George Gershwin.  Walroud also contributes two of his own compositions - Viluca and Le Vol Solitaire.

Curacao born and raised, Felix Waloud started playing pan and was associated with the Korps Mariniers in Rotterdam for ten years and currently works as an instructor with the Rijkspolitie Steelband (State Police Steel Band) in the Netherlands.
